This one day Q-Ride motorcycle licence training course is a competency based training and assessment program that aims to ensure participants reach a demonstrated level of skill and proficiency as a motorbike rider.
Designed for people who have completed the 2 (two) day pre-learner course and or have some riding experience. The course is split between off-road and on-road activities. The course reviews and builds upon your basic riding skills to develop your knowledge, skills, attitude, and behaviour towards roadcraft. Roadcraft simply means the application of these skills on the road, in a live situation.
The course aims to ensure you have the knowledge and skills to manage riding situations unsupervised, to reinforce good riding attitudes and to minimise the likelihood of harm due to inadequate knowledge, skills or risk management.
On successful completion of Q-Ride we are able to issue you with your competency certificate and then we should be able to update your licence to your restricted licence. You’re then free to ride a lams approved bike on the road unsupervised.
